18th International Western Horse Show during the Bremen Kampmann Pferdesport Fest Bremen, February 25–26, 2005

One of the most renowned German western horse shows will start again on February 25, 2005: the 18th International Western Horse Show during the Kampmann Pferdesport Festival in Bremen. During the last 17 years, this show has become a tradition attracting top riders from all over Europe. The western show is part of a great conventional horse show with dressage and jumping events, the Kampmann Pferdesport Festival being a mixture of top horse show and exhibition. The 18th International western Horse Show offers the traditional American Quarter Horse shows (double-pointed AQHA/DQHA) as well as Western Pleasure (NSBA), Reining (NRHA) and Cutting (NCHA) shows – the latter with reduced cattle fees! The organizers are also planning an FEI World Reining Masters qualifier (CRI B) as well as a qualifier for the German Reining Championship (NF). Judges will be John and Betsy Tuckey, Ashland, Virginia, U.S.A., two of the very few of internationally recognized judges with all cards for FEI, AQHA, NRHA, NCHA and NSBA shows. The couple judged the AQHA World Show and the Congress several times.

The Western Show should be a spezial attraction this year as it is the first of three important western events: Right after the show in Bremen, there will be the Equitana western riding day on March 3, and from March 11–13 there will be the International western Horse show in Dortmund. Several well-known reining and cutting trainers from Europe, the U.S.A. and Canada announced their coming already. In December the Bremen Show ground will open its new exhibition / riding arena hall 1, which will be called AWD Dome. So, western riders and dressage will once more be in hall 6. The box stalls and the warm-up arena (which will be larger than before) will be in hall 5.
